April 20, 2011. Sony pulls the PlayStation Network offline after an intrusion, and it stays dark for 23 days while 77 million accounts are picked over. When the login servers finally opened again, everyone tried at once. The queue moved in fits. Work out how many players are still waiting when the last hour is over.

Each hour the servers admit up to rate players, taken from everyone in the queue, including the ones left over from earlier hours.
