Your checklist

• Write call_counter.c. It defines int next_id(void) and void reset_ids(void).
• The first call to next_id returns 1. Each later call returns one more than the call before it.
• After reset_ids, the next call to next_id returns 1 and the count goes on from there.
• reset_ids can be called at any time: before the first next_id, twice in a row, or after many calls.
• No library function is allowed.
